With arms extended to a world
community, we seek to fulfill the Great Commission of our
Lord (Matthew 28:19), by raising world harvest awareness and
participation within the local body. This is accomplished
through prayer, giving, training, and raising up short term
and long term missionaries.

We are working hard, finding many deaf children who are in
poor areas and have never been educated. They also have not
had their hearing tested. The Church of God hospital here in
San Pedro has an audiogram machine, and we can offer hearing
tests to the community for free. We would like to advertise
this free service in June when Lee University comes to set
up the Dolch reading program for the deaf children and
adults. The problem is that we have no hearing aids for the
children or adults who test in a range where a hearing aid
would help them.
Many people in America have old hearing aids they do not
need, maybe because they got new ones or maybe because they
belonged to a loved one who passed on. These hearing aids
and batteries will make a major difference in the lives of
these hard of hearing children.
We will be in the States in May and will be able to carry
these hearing aids back with us to pass out in June.

To
date, 110 bicycles are gathered for pastors in the
Sudan of Africa. Our pastors there have no other
transportation. What a blessing. Two other
churches networked with us in this effort. Pictured
here are Bishop Dallas and Holly Howard and their
three children, Katlin, Halley, and Aaron. The
Howards pastor the growing Bremen, New Covenant
Church in Bremen, Georgia. With only a week and a
half notice, their congregation gathered 40
bicycles. One young man gave his, having never even
ridden it himself. Can you imagine it. There are
actually 39 bicycles in that trailer....WOW! (Great
packing Delbert and Stephen)
The Norfolk,
Virginia - Azalea Garden church gathered over 30.
Thank you Milford for answering the challenge. As
always you stepped to the plate and answered the
call. One hundred and ten bicycles is a phenomenal
response!!
If you have garden
tools....we are still gathering them for the Sudan
as well. It is amazing that most of this country
was cleared in the pioneer days, with tools no
better than what most of us have in our garages. If
you have shovels, picks, hoes, rakes, posthole
diggers, etc just sitting around, would you please
consider donating them to the people of the Sudan.
Your tools, rather than collecting dust, could be
helping save lives and feed families.
Hope Charitable Services, Inc of
Portsmouth, Virginia is providing the shipping. (For
more information of Hope Charitable Services, check
their link in our Christian Resource Links page or
go directly to

Milford mission team networked with
Hope Charitable Services to build 18 homes destroyed by Hurricane
Ivan in 2004. In the crusades, door to door witnessing, there were
133 people who accepted Christ, and the ladies fed over 1,000
children a hot meal over the four days of serving.
